We serve a diverse population of homeless women and children in Los Angeles, representing a wide variety of races, religions, and backgrounds.
The women who come through our doors all have their own story. Some are domestic violence survivors, have suffered job loss or divorce, have undergone health problems, or experienced unexpected life circumstances that led them to a life of homelessness. Â All of the women who call Good Shepherd Center home are dedicated to getting their lives back on track.
Each night, Good Shepherd Center provides housing and supportive services for up to 93 women and 40 children. We touch the lives of 700-1,000 homeless women and children each year.
